nfluence: The Psychology of Persuasion” is a book written by Robert Cialdini, first published in 1984. In the book, Cialdini explores the psychological principles that influence people’s decisions to comply with requests.

He identifies six key principles of persuasion, which he calls “weapons of influence”:
