“The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It” is a book written by Michael E. Gerber. The book was first published in 1986 and has since become a classic in the field of small business management.

The book’s title, “The E-Myth,” refers to the “entrepreneurial myth,” which Gerber defines as the belief that starting a small business is the same as being an entrepreneur. Gerber argues that most small business owners are actually “technicians” who are good at the work of the business but not at running a business.

The book provides a framework for understanding the different roles that a small business owner must play in order to be successful. Gerber divides these roles into three categories: technician, manager, and entrepreneur. He suggests that small business owners must learn to separate these roles in order to be successful, and provides practical advice on how to do so.

The book also covers topics such as creating a business model, developing systems and processes, and building a team. Gerber’s writing style is clear and easy to understand, making the book accessible to small business owners of all levels of experience. As you can deduct from my words, my dear reader, “The E-Myth Revisited” is a valuable resource for anyone looking to start or improve a small business.
